Another tip for using greeting cards in your business from cards are great. It is coming to that time of year when we enter into a season of holidays one after another.

This can be a stressful time for a business owner and yet it doesn't have to be. First you should make a list of all your customers and plan out a campaign to send them cards during the seasons coming up.

The reasons for doing this are many:

You can increase your customer retention and referrals by using greeting cards in the right way. First of all you should make sure the card is not treated as a sales piece by being hypey.

The card should be personal and friendly in tone and style. Do not include offers and specials in the card as these make it a sales piece and not a personal card. Greeting cards are great for any reason, or no reason at all, it's just a nice way to show someone they are important.

However a good time to send a card can be on a holiday, anniversary, birthday or some other special event as the reason for the card.

Remembering customer’s special dates or occasions is very important to the customer and your notice of them will make you unforgettable.

Joe Girard in his books tells of how he sent thousands of cards to his customers on graduations, birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions to build his success in the car business. He had excellent results as he became listed in The Guiness Book of World Records as the world’s greatest salesman.
